The St. Elias Cross Country Ski Club is a small community recreation club working to provide high quality cross country ski trails for the community and visitors to the community to enjoy.
The objectives of the club are:
- To promote the sport of cross country skiing in Haines Junction;
- To encourage community health and fitness amongst all age levels through outdoor recreation;
- To promote visitation to Haines Junction as a recreation destination; and,
- To provide and maintain trails for cross country skiing.
The club hosts yearly events that advance these directives including a showing of the Vancouver International Film Festival, a family ski day, and multiple cross country ski and wax courses. These events are open to one and all.
