Tipping Fees 

The Village of Haines Junction has signed an Interim Regional Waste Management Agreement that is facilitating the transition of the Haines Junction landfill to a Regional Waste Management Facility.  The Agreement provides funding for the municipality to ensure all residents within each regional boundary have access to a Regional Waste Management Facility.  Under this agreement, the Village of Haines Junction has agreed to develop a waste management bylaw that establishes sorting requirements and tipping fees.  This Bylaw was passed on September 25, 2024. Tipping fees will come into effect on January 1, 2025.

• Wednesday to Sunday 9:00am to 6:00 pm
• Closed statutory holidays

Haines Junction Recycle Centre Hours

• Outside bins: Wednesday to Sunday, 9:00am to 6:00pm
• Refundables: Wednesday to Sunday, 1:00pm to 5:30pm
• Closed on statutory holidays
