Tipping Fees
The Village of Haines Junction has signed an Interim Regional Waste Management Agreement that is facilitating the transition of the Haines Junction landfill to a Regional Waste Management Facility. The Agreement provides funding for the municipality to ensure all residents within each regional boundary have access to a Regional Waste Management Facility. Under this agreement, the Village of Haines Junction has agreed to develop a waste management bylaw that establishes sorting requirements and tipping fees. This Bylaw was passed on September 25, 2024. Tipping fees will come into effect on January February 1, 2025.

- Closed statutory holidays
Haines Junction Recycle Centre Hours
- Outside bins: Wednesday to Sunday, 9:00am to 6:00pm
- Refundables: Wednesday to Sunday, 1:00pm to 5:30pm
- Closed on statutory holidays
