No.  Only residents of the Village of Haines Junction are eligible to vote in the election.

I live in the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations Village.  Am I eligible to vote?

All elections for municipalities are based on residency (meaning where you live determines your eligibility to vote).

The current municipal boundary classifies the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations Village (commonly known as block 30) as being outside the boundary of the Village of Haines Junction.  Therefore, residents of that area are not eligible to vote in the Village of Haines Junction election for 2024.

For clarity, please refer to the Election Map to locate where you live in order to determine your eligibility to vote
